Legal Cell of this Police district mainly deals with legal complications of various aspects which may be civil or criminal in nature. Apart from this, legal cell also maintains a day to day monitoring of cases related to article 226 of the constitutions of India which are heard before various benches of Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta. It also takes a keen interest for implementation of various orders passed by Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta and Supreme Court of India from time to time. This Cell also deals with departmental service matters before Hon’ble West Bengal Administrative Tribunal. This cell also has a glorious history in tackling legal complications before Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
